Homescapes mobile app is the most recent builder simulator out of Playrix. Our dear butler friend Austin is back, bursting with ideas to fix up his childhood house to stop his parents from selling it.
If you’ve played Gardenscapes: New Acres, Homescapes mobile app will be extremely recognizable: the core gameplay is virtually identical, with a few small changes to the hurdles you will face and power-ups you will earn. Whether you’re completely new to the – scapes show or some veteran stuck on a tough level, the hints below should come in handy. you’there’s so many ways to reach the last level quickly, just like homescapes cheats, however all of them are specific.
Renovating the House
When you’re not enjoying the match-3 amounts and earning celebrities, you can shell out those celebrities to complete house-related jobs with Austin. Tap the bottom-left checkmark menu to start your own tablet and see with your To-Do List. As the narrative progresses, you will have multiple missions on this list, some of that cost more celebrities than others. You never have to complete a job to unlock new puzzle phases, but finishing a day-denoted by the percentage of jobs you’ve completed on top of this tab-will award you bonus prizes like coins and power-up Boosters.
Unlike in Gardenscapes, you do not recover your endurance by completing a day, so there’s no reason to hold off on doing so. There’s also currently no daily wheel for earning bonuses, so these end of day benefits are extremely valuable. Coins are still handed out in very limited amounts at the end of stages-you will rarely earn more than 70 coins for a very good match -so we recommend saving your money unless there’s a stage you’re just tired of trying.
You can go back and edit any decorations or furniture you’ve mended and change the design to one of those other possibilities, although you will have to pay a small amount of coins to unlock different fashions. Although this menu is up, you can tap any other editable items to alter them as well.
You can change your name or some other animals’ names by tapping the gear icon in the upper right and choosing”Change Name”
Tapping items through the mansion will elicit a reply from Austin: he will frequently have some commentary to discuss or he will actively engage with all the furniture, like sitting in a seat or dusting a shelf.
Boosters and Beyond
As you complete stages, you will unlock Boosters that you can take into amounts with you.
The Hammer unlocks after you complete 8. This Booster is obviously active and allows you to eliminate just one tile of your choosing by the board without spending a turn.
The Bomb + Rocket Booster becomes accessible after degree 14. If you pick this when starting a degree, you will receive a randomly positioned Bomb and Rocket power-up at the beginning of the stage.
The Rainbow Ball Booster is available after degree 16. It places a random Rainbow Ball as soon as the stage starts.
Homescapes mobile app is a level-based match-3 game. Unlike other match-3s that use a map and allow you to replay past amounts, just the current stage in Homescapes mobile app is accessible. Every time you complete a stage, you will earn one star and unlock another level.
Stars are used to help Austin rebuild his parents’ house and progress the narrative. You’re going to be given tasks-like’put up wallpaper’ or’mend the stairs’-that price stars to complete. Then you spend the celebrities you earned enjoying the match-3 amounts to fulfill Austin’s house renovation requests.
While you have to play the match-3 amounts to complete the renovation jobs, the reverse is not true. You could save up celebrities and never do any of those tasks Austin asks of you while playing through the phases, but a part of the fun of Homescapes mobile app is rebuilding the house and designing it how you want.
As in Gardenscapes, matching four or more tiles at once during the match-3 amounts will produce a special power-up you can use on a later turn.
Rocket: fit four tiles in a row or column to acquire a Rocket. Employing the Rocket will make it to fire across the screen in both directions, removing all tiles in that row or column.
The direction the Rocket faces is based upon the set of tiles you matched to make it: a column produces a Rocket that confronts horizontally and will clean a row, and a row generates a Rocket that extends vertically and clears a column.
Bomb: fit five tiles in an L shape to acquire a Bomb.
Since they explode in a circle, using a Bomb close to the border of the board wastes some of its own power.
Paper Plane: fit tiles in a square to acquire a Paper Plane. When used, the Paper Plane removes the four tiles right above, below, left, and right of it. It then flies to a single tile on the board and strikes it.
The Paper Plane always chooses a tile that’s useful to eliminate. If your current aim was to eliminate all cherries in the board and just one cherry remained and you used a Paper Plane, it would fly into the last cherry and then hit it. Since it can reach any tile regardless of location-even if it’s separated from the remaining tiles by boxes, empty space, etc.-the Paper daybed is a very strong power-up. It’s less useful at the beginning of a degree when there are lots of goal-related tiles staying : at the beginning of a cherry stage, for instance, it will just hit on a cherry, not necessarily the”best” cherry. But once the stage has been whittled down to fewer goal-specific possibilities, Paper Planes are must-haves.
Rainbow Ball: game five tiles in a row or column to acquire a Rainbow Ball. When used, the Rainbow Ball will eliminate every tile currently on the board that matches the colour it was swapped with.
The Rainbow Ball is always useful since it clears a ton of tiles throughout the board at one time. If you’ve got a goal of collecting a specific type of tile-e.g., 40 green teacups-the Rainbow Ball will make fast work of this task.
For many power-ups, if they strike tiles that need more than a single match to be removed-like strengthened Boxes-or act as breakable walls-like Cookies-then they may either do one damage or stop at the tile later destroying it, respectively.
Each power-up could be swapped with a different power-up for a more powerful ability: game with a Rocket or Bomb with a Paper Plane and the Plane will carry the explosive to its final destination and then release it there, letting you Bomb a remote (although somewhat arbitrary ) portion of this board. Switch two Celtics to clean both a column and row (even if both Rockets are facing the exact same direction). Matching any power-up with a Rainbow Ball will unleash heaps of that power-up all around the board.
Unlike Gardenscapes, there’s absolutely no exceptional power-up earned by setting off explosions. But the Rainbow Ball and Paper Plane make up for this with their abilities.
Every puzzle degree in Homescapes mobile app is going to have a specific victory condition. This usually entails collecting or removing a particular type and volume of tiles. Early phases will feature a lot of”collect X amount of Y vinyl” goals, while as you progress you will uncover challenges that include laying Carpet throughout the entire board, removing Cherries from inside jelly, breaking apart Cookies, and plenty more.
Often, phases will unite challenges even if the victory condition does not ask you to clear all kinds. As an example, a stage with a goal of collecting Cherries might have Boxes obstructing some of those Cherries.
Focus on the actual stage target and don’t get distracted trying to clean items you don’t need to. Whether there are Boxes that aren’t in your way, don’t waste turns eliminating these. Remember that certain power-ups will allow you to get blocked off tiles, so try using a Paper Plane rather than multiple turns clearing a few Boxes.
If the win illness entails both removing items and collecting a specific number of a colour tile type-such as removing Boxes and collecting green teacups-concentrate on the removing part. Normally over the duration of completing that job you will collect most of the base tiles you need for the next aim.
How Particular Tiles Work
There are a wide array of tiles in Homescapes mobile app (and we are still discovering new ones as we play), many of which have their own rules for interaction and removal.
One of the more distinctive kinds is Carpet: Carpet tiles have a solid green backdrop and are usually the attention of a stage’s goal. On a carpeting degree, you need to disperse Carpet onto every tile. You do this by matching tiles with tiles that are already on Carpet, or simply by swapping tiles that are on Carpet into a suit. Simply matching next to Carpet will not do anything: one of those tiles included in your game must currently be touching Carpet or have come from Carpet.
The exact same goes for power-ups on these phases: if you use a Bomb that’s currently on Carpet, any tiles it clears will gain Carpet. However, if you use a Bomb that’s not on Carpet, it will only clear the tiles-it will not add Carpet to them. If a Rocket crosses Carpet while clearing a row or column, any tiles it clears after it strikes Carpet will become Carpeted.
Cookies and Boxes can be removed by matching next to them. But, Boxes can’t be transferred or swapped while Cookies can-you can produce a game by swapping a Cookie tile with a different tile. However while Boxes allow power-ups to travel through them (a Rocket that strikes a Box will continue past it and split anything outside the Box), Cookies do not (a Rocket that strikes a Cookie will break the Cookie and cease ).
You can move tiles into vacant spaces to produce matches. And on phases where tiles don’t just fall straight down, a gust of wind will soon blow periodically to remind one of this direction the tiles proceed.
Like coins, Boosters are incredibly difficult to find, so we recommend saving them absolutely essential. On the first stage after you unlock every Booster, they’ll be auto-selected as part of this tutorial: you can deselect them before starting the stage and stop wasting a Booster on lesser levels. If you choose Yes, then it only selects that homescapes cheats before starting again. It will not award you an additional Booster-it’s just recommending a specific one that might come in handy.
