1.

As with every other game that defaults to tilt controls, I always recommending switching the settings to see what works best for you. If you go back to the main menu, you can access the preferences where you can alter the control scheme. The next scheme has you tapping on the left or right sides of the screen to maneuver in that way, whereas the brake buttons are located in the corner. The third option has a virtual mat at the bottom left using the brakes at the bottom right. See which works for you!

2.

You receive a free spin every day. The spinning plank has some pretty great stuff on it, so make sure you spin daily! You could also partake in the daily challenge if you so want, and I recommend you do so because you may earn gold out of it! They’re pretty fun too, and also you also get compared to other people who’ve finished the challenge.

3. Take advantage of your driver’s unique skill!

Each driver has a unique ability that may be used once per race. Your starting motorist, Rez, has the ability to increase and leave behind a trail of fire, slowing down whoever is behind him. As you unlock more drivers, check their skills and find out which one you like the best!

4. Get all three stars on a level to get a ticket refund!

Whenever you enter a level, a ticket is deducted from your total. They’re essentially this game’s power system. However, if you receive all three stars in a level in one go, your ticket will be reimbursed to you! That means getting first on the race amounts and beating the best time around the time strike amounts. Do well to continue!

5. Use your powerups properly!

When you begin, you’ll have access to eight different powerups. They are:

Fireworks launch straight ahead of you and will harm enemies.
Tiki Seekers work like fireworks, but they lock on and home in on targets!
Oil Slicks are put behind you, leaving behind a pool of oil. Any opponents who push over it is going to spin out!
Low Gravity affects each of the cars in front of you.
Death bats are deadly screeching fireballs. When used they’ll go for the person in first place, demolishing anyone else on the way.
Spiked Tires temporarily raises your automobile’s offroading capabilities.
Boosts are self-explanatory: hit on them to receive a boost of speed!
Basic Shields defend you against projectiles, but only for a short while!
6. Upgrade your car!

Your starting automobile, the Beach Buggy, is quite well-rounded in terms of maximum stats. I believe that it’s more beneficial to upgrade the Beach Buggy most of the way instead of buying a new car, and it rolls out at a wonderful balance. If you don’t really want a car that specializing in a specific stat, there is no damage is sticking with the Beach Buggy and improving on it.

7. Test out new powerups!

Unlocking different powerups is a little more tricky, as you can only buy them with gems, the game’s premium money. There are methods to earn them without paying, though. One approach to complete the achievements. You can check which ones you can perform and which ones you’ve finished by tapping the trophy at the very top left on the main menu. Completing them benefits you with stone! An additional way to complete certain amounts, namely the personality unlock amounts.

8. Watch for shortcuts!

Keep an eye out for any kind of route that strays off the most obvious route — it may be a shortcut! If you’d like, you can spend a ticket onto a random level and only explore to find out what you may find. Shortcuts are very handy for getting those fast times.

It’ll take some practice getting down those turns, but keep at it and you’ll be a pro in no time.
